The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) has become the first exchange in the MENA region to offer investors, institutions, developers and other market participants direct access to its official live market data through conversational AI tools. In a statement distributed via the Emirates News Agency (WAM), ADX said the integration allows users to query exchange information in plain language on platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude and other large language models without specialist terminals, complex APIs or technical intermediaries. The exchange added that the governed Model Context Protocol server opens a new channel for market transparency, financial awareness and inclusion while supporting wealth creation in Abu Dhabi and the wider UAE.
Abdulla Salem Alnuaimi, group chief executive officer of ADX, said in the statement, “AI is rapidly enabling how investors discover, analyse and act on information. As the first exchange in the MENA region to connect directly with major AI models, we are redefining how the financial community can take advantage of our market data to make informed decisions directly, intuitively, and efficiently. By removing technical barriers that once required a specific setup, everyone now has live access to ADX data through simple prompts. We believe this will contribute to greater market transparency, wider financial participation, and a more accessible investment ecosystem. This also reinforces ADX as a key pillar supporting the development of Abu Dhabi and the UAE’s capital markets and aligns with the emirate’s vision of an AI-inspired, knowledge-based economy.”
The ADX MCP framework provides secure, on-demand access to critical market datasets for AI assistants and agentic workflows, according to the exchange. Users configure their AI applications to read official ADX data sources through a simple standardised protocol. Four usage plans range from a free tier to Dh49.99 per month, each with defined limits on usage, refresh frequency, historical depth and concurrent connections.
Via the integration, users can retrieve per-symbol market depth, bid-ask spreads and price-discovery signals along with multiple trading statistics. Those statistics include breakdowns of retail versus institutional flows and foreign versus local flows, the statement noted. Structured machine-readable XBRL financial disclosures, comprehensive index constituents and related reference data are also available.
The service supports fintech developers and research firms in building customised analytics, research tools and AI-driven insights, ADX said. Brokers can develop proprietary white-label AI trading assistants while institutional investors obtain low-latency source-grade order book visibility. Retail investors gain the ability to ask natural-language questions to retrieve complex real-time official market intelligence.
ADX had unveiled three AI solutions at GITEX in October 2025 that aimed to make investing easier and provide real-time market insights across the UAE, the exchange’s website reported. A MarketsandMarkets assessment found the global AI in finance market is projected to expand from $38.36 billion in 2024 to $190.33 billion by 2030 at a compound annual growth rate of 30.6 percent. An IMARC Group analysis indicated steady growth in the Middle East and Africa AI fintech segment driven by digital infrastructure development and rising demand for automated financial operations.
