Dubai World Trade Centre announced its events calendar for the remainder of 2026 on August 19, detailing 14 exhibitions and conferences set for September at the Dubai World Trade Centre and the Dubai Exhibition Centre at Expo City Dubai. The programme spans energy, investment, healthcare, tourism, finance, cybersecurity and technology, according to the organisation. Dubai World Trade Centre’s 2025 Economic Impact Assessment found that its large-scale events that year generated 25.03 billion dirhams in economic output for the emirate while supporting more than 94,000 jobs across related industries.
The DWTC calendar opens the month with Middle East Energy from September 1 to 3 under the patronage of the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure. The event is expected to feature 1,900 exhibitors, more than 250 speakers and around 35,000 attendees from over 150 countries. Five co-located conferences will examine grid modernisation, energy storage, digitalisation, artificial intelligence and the rising power requirements of data centres, the centre reported.
International Property Show returns for its 22nd edition from September 7 to 9 alongside AIM Congress, which enters its 15th year with the theme Reshaping Global Prosperity. AIM Congress will bring together 15,000 delegates from 180 countries for more than 400 sessions addressed by 1,385 speakers, according to the announcement. The property marketplace will focus on four pillars that include future cities, design, services and PropTech.
Dubai Derma, now in its 25th edition following the merger of dermatology and aesthetic medicine events, is scheduled for September 8 to 10 with projections of 25,000 visitors, 500 speakers from 114 countries and 1,875 brands. The healthcare gathering will feature continuing medical education workshops, DWTC said in its calendar release. Crypto Expo follows on September 9 and 10, anticipated to draw more than 7,000 attendees, 100 exhibitors and 140 speakers from over 40 countries to discuss digital assets and blockchain.
Arabian Travel Market, running from September 14 to 17, will explore the theme Travel 2040 with emphasis on innovation, technology, ultra-luxury, business events and sustainability after more than three decades as a key industry platform. The Forex Expo is listed for September 22 and 23 while Seamless Middle East, now in its 26th year and co-located with a fintech event, expects more than 20,000 attendees, 800 speakers and 750 exhibitors. GISEC Global, the Middle East and Africa’s largest cybersecurity event in its 15th edition at Dubai Exhibition Centre, is projected to attract over 25,000 professionals from 182 countries along with 350 leaders and 750 brands, the centre added.
The September schedule also includes Ru’ya Careers UAE from September 28 to 30, GOTECH and the AWS Summit Dubai to round out the month. Mahir Julfar, executive vice president at Dubai World Trade Centre, said in the announcement that operating the two venues as complementary sites provides capacity to accommodate a particularly active period with several large-scale events in a concentrated calendar. The arrangement supports expanding exhibitions and a wider range of industries and audiences, Julfar added.
