The Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy organised a dedicated pitching session in collaboration with Oraseya Capital, the investment arm of Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority, to expand funding and growth pathways for technology startups, according to Emirates News Agency WAM. Seven companies presented during the event, gaining direct access to potential investors and expertise that can accelerate their development. This activity aligns with the chamber’s role in reinforcing Dubai as a global centre for digital entrepreneurship and investment.

The participating startups encompassed a diverse set of solutions, WAM reported. Arakan operates a UAE-based technology platform that delivers digital tools for business compliance, corporate requirements and operational efficiency while Duno functions as an independent operational intelligence platform to help lenders assess Small and Medium-sized Enterprises. YOUNEA provides an AI platform that lets businesses deploy branded AI agents across voice, chat and WhatsApp channels and Riayatech develops HealthTech digital solutions to streamline healthcare operations and the patient journey.

Avelin offers a sovereign AI platform delivering frontier-class artificial intelligence through cloud, on-premises and air-gapped deployment options, SENSI focuses on fragrance-technology with digital scent and sensory solutions under the concept of the “Internet of Fragrances” and Cogniver runs an AI-native enterprise platform that uses autonomous AI agents to automate organisational workflows and business processes. Oraseya Capital manages an AED500 million investment fund targeting technology startups from the pre-seed stage through Series B. Its SANDBOX Investment Program extends potential investments from AED550,000 to approximately AED11 million together with mentorship, investment-readiness support and broader ecosystem access.

Saeed Al Gergawi, Vice President of Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, said, “We are focused on providing practical and effective pathways that enable technology startups to connect directly with potential investors and access capital and expertise that can support their growth and expansion.” He added that the chamber is committed to supporting the growth of Dubai’s digital economy ecosystem and strengthening its position as a global hub for innovation, entrepreneurship, and investment across all areas of the digital economy. The session forms one element of sustained work to nurture the sector.

Dubai Chambers data places the number of digital startups supported for establishment and expansion during 2025 at 1,690, reflecting year-on-year growth of 39.7 percent. Around 15 percent of those companies specialised in artificial intelligence and 12 percent in fintech, with global firms comprising 75 percent of the total. The figures illustrate the scale of activity that the latest pitching event seeks to build upon.

Further initiatives such as the launch of Dubai Founders HQ and the hosting of Expand North Star have drawn thousands of startups and investors managing more than $1.1 trillion in assets, a Dubai Chambers review found. These programmes supply structured assistance for business setup, acceleration and market connections that complement direct investor matchmaking. The combined measures continue to enhance Dubai’s attractiveness for digital companies seeking to scale.
