The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange organized the two-day global investor roadshow in New York in collaboration with Morgan Stanley, according to a statement from the exchange. The event featured a delegation headed by Chairman H.E. Ghannam Butti Almazrouei and Group Chief Executive Officer Abdulla Salem Alnuaimi along with senior executives from the participating companies. Fifteen blue-chip listed companies with a combined market capitalization of more than $300 billion took part in one-on-one and group meetings with leading asset managers, hedge funds and institutional investors.
These companies span key growth sectors including financial services, energy and utilities, real estate and infrastructure, healthcare, technology and artificial intelligence, logistics and transport as well as telecommunications, the statement indicated. Management teams presented recent performance highlights and addressed themes shaping capital markets such as global energy trends and mergers and acquisitions. The roadshow responds to rising global demand for Abu Dhabi-listed securities and highlights the exchange’s role in strengthening the emirate as a financial hub.
ADX’s market capitalization stood at nearly $850 billion by the end of August 2025, reinforcing its status as one of the world’s fastest-growing exchanges, a WAM assessment found. The bourse ranks among the top 20 globally and has witnessed substantial increases in foreign investor activity. Foreign net investment surged 99.5 percent in the first half of 2025, according to WAM figures.
Abdulla Salem Alnuaimi said in the statement that the investor outreach in New York forms part of ADX’s efforts to heighten awareness of Abu Dhabi’s capital market. “With ADX at the core of Abu Dhabi’s financial hub, the investor outreach in New York is part of ADX’s ongoing efforts to heighten awareness of Abu Dhabi’s capital market, and it is also an extension of ADX’s commitment to advancing the country’s vibrant and diversified economy through strategic channels,” he stated. The CEO added that the exchange evolves to support fast-changing market demands, international trade and investment developments.
Previous roadshows have helped boost foreign investors’ trading value by 13.8 percent, WAM data shows. Institutional investors accounted for 78 percent of the total trading value in recent reporting periods. The New York event builds on this momentum to further integrate Abu Dhabi into global capital flows.
In 2023, ADX accounted for 56.3 percent of regional IPO proceeds with more than $5.6 billion raised, an Economy Middle East report noted. The exchange continues to expand its product offerings and listing pipeline. This includes a focus on sustainable financing and the integration of ESG and AI in investment strategies.
