Dubai Media hosted the Looking to the Future event at Majlis Al Salam in Madinat Jumeirah bringing together advertisers, agencies and partners to preview its plans. The organisation highlighted forthcoming content and commercial opportunities for the final quarter of 2026 and the first quarter of 2027 that includes Ramadan. His Excellency Mohamed AlMulla, CEO of Dubai Media, led the presentation that positioned innovation and digital transformation as foundational to the group’s evolution.

AlMulla said “Dubai Media’s future growth will be shaped by our ability to develop compelling content, embrace technology and build partnerships that create lasting value.” The CEO added that innovation is central to that ambition informing how the organisation operates and engages audiences. He noted the group is building on its brands and audience trust to deliver a connected media offering that reinforces Dubai’s status as a global centre for media and creativity according to the event briefing.

The gathering encouraged early engagement from agencies and advertisers to co-develop campaigns integrated with content schedules particularly for the Ramadan period Dubai Media reported. Such collaboration allows brands to contribute concepts that span multiple platforms increasing relevance and impact. The strategy seeks to intensify audience connections while unlocking additional value for commercial partners.

This announcement arrives as Dubai Media advances several recent initiatives including a partnership with Emirates to broadcast its productions on international flights. The tie-up unveiled in September 2026 at the Arab Media Summit expands the reach of Emirati content to global travellers through the airline’s ice entertainment system the company said. It forms part of efforts to elevate local productions and position Dubai prominently in worldwide media markets.

The Dubai Media Council chaired by H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum approved the launch of a dedicated business media platform in June 2026 to communicate Dubai’s economic opportunities to international audiences according to the Emirates News Agency. That decision supports the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 which targets doubling the media sector’s contribution to the emirate’s GDP from 1.4 per cent to 3 per cent by 2033 as directed by Sheikh Ahmed in late 2025. The platform will cover key areas such as finance technology and real estate to highlight investment prospects.

Dubai Media has additionally partnered with Dubai Islamic Bank to sponsor the Emirates News bulletin on Dubai TV a move that advances national content and institutional collaboration the parties stated in May 2026. Further agreements with academic entities focus on training in emerging technologies to prepare the workforce for ongoing industry shifts. The training initiatives target skills in digital media artificial intelligence and innovation Dubai Media Academy has indicated.
