Messe Frankfurt Middle East organised the 30th edition of Beautyworld Dubai which opened on October 6 under the patronage of H.H. Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority. The fragrance sector has expanded to its largest footprint in the show’s history with more than 220 exhibitors and a new hall in Za’abeel dedicated to the category. Organisers reported that the fragrance exhibition space has more than tripled since 2017 now exceeding 19 000 square metres as the event runs through October 8 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Emirates News Agency reported that the exhibition brings together leading figures and experts from the global beauty industry to discover new products expand business opportunities and forge partnerships. First-time exhibitors at this year’s show include Kuwait’s Gissah Perfumes and Saudi Arabia’s Al Majed for Oud joining established regional names. UK-based Lush Cosmetics selected the platform to officially unveil its latest fragrance collection according to event details released by the organisers.

The programme features the Next in Fragrance and Next in Beauty conferences as key highlights along with the return of Natural Notes which links natural ingredient producers directly to industry professionals. Internationally recognised makeup artists hairstylists and educators including Mounir Mary Phillips Patrick Ta Dimitris Giannetos and Josh Lamonaca appeared on the live stages throughout the three days. A Messe Frankfurt Middle East assessment found these sessions underscore the event’s role in setting trends across the full beauty supply chain from formulations to retail.

The Beautyworld Dubai Awards 2026 took place on October 7 recognising excellence across 17 categories that span fragrance skincare hair makeup packaging and technology segments. Organisers stated that the awards form an integral part of the milestone edition celebrating innovation among participating brands and suppliers. The trade-only format restricts access to professionals ensuring focused networking and business discussions at the venue.

Figures from the organisers place overall participation at more than 2 600 exhibitors and over 85 000 trade visitors drawn from 178 countries during the three-day event. This scale positions Dubai as a central hub connecting the beauty ecosystems of the MENA region Africa and South Asia. The show’s growth over three decades has paralleled the expansion of regional commercial activity in the sector according to Messe Frankfurt Middle East.

Beautyworld Dubai first launched 30 years ago and has since evolved into one of the most influential trade platforms of its kind in the global beauty calendar. The current emphasis on fragrance aligns with broader industry shifts that include technological applications such as AI in scent development and heightened demand for natural ingredients. Organisers noted that the event facilitates direct connections across the supply chain helping stakeholders identify emerging opportunities in a rapidly developing market.
