Al Masaood Automobiles, the authorised Nissan distributor for Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and the Al Dhafra Region, has begun accepting reservations for the special edition model, the company said. Reservations can be made at its showrooms or via the nissan-abudhabi.com website. The initiative allows customers in the capital to secure one of the limited units of the commemorative SUV before they are allocated across the Gulf.
Nissan has confirmed that production of the 75th Anniversary Edition will be restricted to an initial run of 1,951 vehicles for the entire GCC market. The figure references the year 1951 when the Patrol nameplate made its debut. According to Nissan, the model draws on the Platinum V6 Twin Turbo specification complete with 425 horsepower and distinctive exterior accents in copper-gold that evoke the region’s desert landscapes.
Available exterior colours include solid grey, white and black as well as a two-tone white and black roof combination. The interior receives unique anniversary badging and thematic trim to distinguish it from standard Patrol models. Al Masaood Automobiles’ announcement highlighted the vehicle’s role in celebrating the long-standing popularity of the Patrol in the UAE where it has consistently ranked among the top-selling SUVs.
Thierry Sabbagh, Nissan’s divisional vice president for the Middle East, noted the importance of the milestone. “To mark 75 years of the Patrol, we wanted to deliver something lasting for our customers, a special product that serves as a memorable token of our shared history,” he said. The executive’s comments underscore the deep connection the brand has built with regional buyers over seven and a half decades.
Recent data from Al Masaood Automobiles indicates that Emirati customers made up nearly 80 percent of Patrol purchases at its outlets last year. The distributor has hosted multiple events showcasing new Patrol variants, driving customer engagement. Reservations for the anniversary model will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis according to the dealer.
Al Masaood Automobiles has seen an increase in Patrol sales of 58 percent in Abu Dhabi over the past year, the company reported in a previous update. The 75th Anniversary Edition joins other performance-oriented Patrol variants such as the NISMO that have seen surging demand following previews at Al Masaood facilities. Bookings for the limited model are expected to generate significant interest given the historic significance and restricted availability.
