According to a statement from Dubai Chambers, the specialised workshop examined key aspects of the emirate’s accounting ecosystem together with resources and services available to support local companies. Representatives highlighted specialised services tailored to the sector that help firms enhance efficiency and develop their businesses. The session also covered the latest developments and trends shaping Dubai’s accounting landscape while the Dubai Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India supplied an overview of the current market.
Discussions explored opportunities and challenges facing accounting firms along with the sector’s growth prospects and avenues for companies in the emirate to expand their operations, Dubai Chambers reported. Participants heard a corporate success story that illustrated how one member company had benefited from the chamber’s attestation services to streamline procedures and improve operational efficiency. An open discussion at the close of the event enabled attendees to pose questions on relevant topics and to learn how they could access practical guidance from chamber representatives.
Khalid AlJarwan, executive vice president of commercial and corporate services at Dubai Chambers, said, “We are committed to creating a supportive environment for the accounting sector to thrive by promoting constructive dialogue and providing services that empower companies and strengthen their competitiveness.” He added that the session was designed to raise awareness of the resources available to businesses and support them in keeping pace with rapid developments in the sector while adopting best practices and enhancing their efficiency in Dubai.
Dubai Chamber of Commerce was established in 1965 to represent, support and protect the interests of the business community while creating a stimulating environment and promoting the emirate as a global business hub, according to background information released by the organisation. The chamber functions as one of three entities under the Dubai Chambers umbrella, an arrangement that followed a restructuring decreed by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. Dubai Chambers figures show that 2,709 new member companies joined in March 2026 alone, underscoring sustained interest in the emirate’s business environment.
In a parallel announcement, Dubai Chambers said it had signed a memorandum of understanding with the National Association of Software and Service Companies to advance cooperation in Agentic AI and to assist Indian companies specialising in these technologies with growth and expansion in Dubai. The agreement calls for strategic partnerships among stakeholders in the Agentic AI innovation ecosystems of both locations, knowledge and expertise exchange, and the launch of joint initiatives including specialised business events. The pact seeks to connect leading Indian firms in Agentic AI and deeptech with opportunities and the emirate’s broader innovation and partnership ecosystem.
Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, president and CEO of Dubai Chambers, commented, “Dubai’s efforts to support the private sector’s transition towards Agentic AI represent a pioneering global initiative to strengthen the competitiveness of the business community and help companies capitalise on advanced technologies and their applications in the future economy.” He continued that as part of Dubai Chambers’ role in implementing this initiative, the organisation is expanding international cooperation and partnerships to build an integrated ecosystem that supports the adoption of Agentic AI by businesses, enhances efficiency and productivity, and creates new opportunities for economic growth. The development aligns with expansion in the emirate’s technology landscape, where the Dubai International Financial Centre reported 1,677 active AI and fintech organisations in 2025, a 35 percent increase year on year.
