Ooredoo Group announced interest payment dates for notes issued under its Global Medium Term Note program on September 28, according to Qatar News Agency. The Qatari telecommunications company stated that its wholly owned subsidiary Ooredoo International Finance Limited will handle the disbursements to noteholders in line with the established terms and conditions of each issuance. Such announcements form part of the group’s regular communications with the Qatar Exchange to uphold investor transparency across its debt instruments.

Ooredoo International Finance Limited serves as the issuer for the guaranteed notes while Ooredoo Q.P.S.C. acts as the guarantor, a structure the company has employed for multiple bond series. The latest disclosure follows a pattern of periodic updates that specify exact payment amounts and dates for each tranche. Qatar News Agency reported that these notices enable bondholders to anticipate cash flows from the various coupon rates attached to the notes.

The GMTN program has allowed Ooredoo to access international debt markets efficiently since its establishment, supporting the company’s operations in over a dozen countries. According to earlier company statements compiled by Mubasher, Ooredoo maintains several tranches under the program with differing maturities and interest rates. One such filing placed the group’s issued and paid-up capital at QAR 3,203,200,000.

A May 2026 announcement covered by Qatar News Agency detailed a combined principal and interest payment of $509.375 million due on June 22, 2026, for a $500 million tranche carrying a 3.75 percent coupon. In a separate March 2026 statement, the company outlined interest payments of $13.125 million on April 8 for a $1 billion issuance at 2.625 percent due in 2031, alongside $11.5625 million on April 10 for a $500 million issuance at 4.625 percent due in 2034. These figures illustrate the scale of Ooredoo’s semi-annual obligations under the program.

Ooredoo has consistently met its debt service requirements, with past payments processed on schedule as confirmed in regulatory filings. The operator’s international footprint includes mobile and broadband services that generate revenues to cover such financial commitments. Data drawn from Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange notices show comparable interest payments ranging from $9.375 million to $11.25 million for other tranches in prior cycles.

The telecommunications sector in the Gulf has seen increased use of medium-term note programs for funding network expansions and digital infrastructure. Ooredoo’s approach aligns with this trend, providing flexibility in timing and sizing of debt issuances. Market participants monitor these announcements for signals on the company’s overall financial position and liquidity management.
