The Sanjeev Mansotra Foundation has partnered with ImpactSG to fund various philanthropic initiatives, the foundation said in an announcement. This collaboration connects the foundation’s work in Africa with ImpactSG’s platform that engages family offices, foundations and corporations. The alliance seeks to direct resources toward causes in education, health and sustainability that match the priorities of both organizations.
The Citizen reported in November 2025 that the Sanjeev Mansotra Foundation was launched in Tanzania by Planet One Group chairman Sanjeev Mansotra with an initial project to renovate and expand four public schools in Dodoma. The foundation has since extended its activities to provide full tertiary scholarships for more than 20 young women across Africa, a NewsGhana article from April 2026 stated. Plans call for further expansion into Ghana, Guinea, Togo, Sierra Leone and India.
ImpactSG presents itself on its website as an independent ground-up initiative that began in 2022 to build a community of purposeful givers across Singapore and Asia. The organization received its official launch from President Tharman Shanmugaratnam in November 2024, The Business Times reported at the time. It promotes a model that encourages contributions of time, talent, professional networks and financial resources rather than donations alone.
A Zaobao report from November 2025 placed ImpactSG’s pledger community at 120 individuals from 18 countries and territories, with total commitments exceeding S$4 million during its first year of operations. The group has formed ties with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation as well as the National Cancer Centre Singapore to advance targeted health and education programs, its website shows. Additional partners include the Asian Family Legacy Foundation, with which it has organized events to promote sustainable development discussions.
The partnership with the Sanjeev Mansotra Foundation represents an expansion of ImpactSG’s network to incorporate implementation experience from African development projects, according to the announcement. This connection supports ImpactSG’s stated regional ambitions while offering the foundation structured access to high-net-worth donors and corporate partners based in Singapore. Both parties have indicated the arrangement will focus on measurable outcomes in beneficiary communities.
The Business Times noted in coverage of ImpactSG’s activities that chairman Ravi Menon, a former Monetary Authority of Singapore managing director, has highlighted the city-state’s emergence as a global wealth hub that can channel resources to vulnerable populations. ImpactSG has initiated programs pairing business leaders with neighborhood schools to build social capital for students and teachers. The organization also supports initiatives in cancer screening, mental health services and career development for youth.
