Schneider Electric has invited journalists to schedule interviews with Amel Chadli during the company’s activities at WETEX 2026, which opened Oct. 20 in Dubai. Chadli, who has served as president of the Gulf cluster since January 2024, is expected to address the intersection of electrification, digital technologies and artificial intelligence in driving regional energy transitions. The company said the availability aligns with its exhibition presence that featured discussions on digital innovation and flexible energy systems on the opening day.

A 2024 company announcement detailed Chadli’s appointment after she led digital energy and energy management software initiatives for the Middle East and Africa, where she advanced smart building, healthcare and microgrid projects. Schneider Electric has since expanded its role supporting ADNOC’s digital transformation through a seven-year framework agreement signed in 2025. The executive also contributes to RES4Africa and has championed sustainability and inclusion programs that earned the company recognition from the UAE Gender Balance Council earlier this year.

Chadli delivered opening remarks at Schneider Electric’s Innovation Summit Middle East and Africa in Abu Dhabi in September alongside Walid Sheta, an event that drew more than 3,000 participants and included the launch of a UAE industrial artificial intelligence study. In remarks carried by Economy Middle East ahead of that summit, she emphasised that real-time visibility into power systems has become essential as data centre demand accelerates across the Gulf. Schneider Electric reported that its solutions helped Dubai’s Sustainable City cut energy use by approximately 35 percent through integrated management platforms.

The WETEX platform allows Schneider Electric to showcase technologies that support the GCC’s sustainability targets while addressing rising electricity needs tied to artificial intelligence infrastructure. Chadli has repeatedly noted that the region holds distinct advantages in moving quickly from ambition to deployment of clean energy and digital systems. Public filings and company statements place Schneider Electric among leaders in energy management and automation with operations spanning more than 40 countries.

Media sessions with Chadli are expected to cover operational efficiency gains, carbon reduction strategies and workforce development required for the next phase of industrial intelligence. Schneider Electric has maintained a long-term commitment to local talent development, including a $27.2 million education initiative launched in the UAE in 2025. The company’s exhibition presence this week builds on those foundations by demonstrating practical applications already in use across utilities, industry and commercial sectors.

Organisers position WETEX as the premier regional platform for water, energy, technology and environment solutions, attracting government officials, industry leaders and technical experts each year. Schneider Electric’s decision to make Chadli available reflects the priority it assigns to transparent dialogue on the energy intelligence themes that now define its Gulf strategy. Interviews can be arranged through the company’s regional communications team for the duration of the exhibition.
