SpaceX disclosed the results in its quarterly earnings release that highlighted broad gains across its operations with net income swinging to a 4.4 billion dollar profit from a 1.1 billion dollar loss in the same period of 2025. Adjusted EBITDA climbed 306 percent to 8.8 billion dollars while income from operations reached 2.8 billion dollars against an operating loss a year ago. The company also posted adjusted earnings per share of 0.35 dollars more than double the 0.15 dollar consensus estimate according to data compiled by analysts.

The earnings release broke out performance by division with the super intelligence segment delivering 7.6 billion dollars in revenue that accounted for 52 percent of the total and reflected more than a ninefold increase from 813 million dollars a year earlier. Connectivity operations that center on the Starlink network generated 5.2 billion dollars up 69 percent year over year while the space transportation business contributed 1.8 billion dollars. SpaceX attributed the acceleration to new cloud services agreements the acquisition of coding tool Cursor and wider adoption of its Grok models and software applications.

Starlink added subscribers at an accelerated pace reaching 13.6 million consumers by the end of September for an 89 percent increase from the prior year according to the company’s figures. Average monthly revenue per user stood at 69 dollars down from 83 dollars a year ago as the service expanded into more price sensitive international markets. The period also marked the first revenue generating Starship mission that deployed 26 next generation satellites representing roughly 10 times the downlink capacity of a standard Falcon 9 launch.

Capital expenditures nearly tripled to 19.6 billion dollars during the quarter with the bulk directed toward artificial intelligence infrastructure that expanded nameplate compute capacity to 1.7 gigawatts. The investment supported scaling of data centers and related systems essential to the super intelligence business. SpaceX noted that its connectivity segment remained the only unit where earnings before interest taxes depreciation and amortization exceeded capital spending.

The performance comes after SpaceX completed its initial public offering earlier in 2026 and reflects the company’s evolution beyond its origins in rocket launches. Revenue for the first nine months of the year reached levels that positioned the full year well above prior benchmarks although the company still reported a modest net loss for the period on a cumulative basis. Market reaction to the results saw the stock advance 2.5 percent in extended trading according to trading platforms.
