Emirates News Agency reported that the gathering formed part of sustained efforts to bolster the economic and investment relationship between the UAE and France while identifying fresh prospects in strategic fields. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed President Macron and the accompanying French delegation in his opening address. The Crown Prince observed that the friendship between the two countries has extended for more than five decades founded on trust mutual respect and a joint commitment to advancement and well-being.

The pair participated in two panel sessions that brought together government ministers and corporate executives from both sides. One discussion titled The Power of Resilience: Shaping the Future of Energy and Beyond reviewed shifts under way in the energy domain and stressed the need for greater resilience innovation and sustainable approaches to guarantee reliable supplies amid worldwide transitions. A second session explored how artificial intelligence is reconfiguring economies and highlighted collaborative avenues in that sphere.

In artificial intelligence and advanced technology three memoranda of understanding were concluded with France’s AMI Labs together with UAE partners including the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence G42 and Analog. Emirates News Agency listed the pacts as targeting enhanced research technological collaboration and fresh applications in critical domains such as cloud computing and robotics. The agreements underscore the deepening ties between Emirati and French entities in these high-priority sectors.

Additional contracts covered energy initiatives. ADNOC Gas partnered with Schneider Electric to evaluate novel technologies that could raise operational efficiency and system performance while ADNOC Refining signed two deals with Technip Energies for a refining capacity upgrade project and a sustainable aviation fuel scheme. WAM noted that these arrangements illustrate continued industrial collaboration and the broadening of joint work in refining and low-carbon fuel development.

Business France figures show bilateral trade climbed to €10.8 billion in 2025 representing a 27 percent rise from the prior year with more than 11,000 French firms now registered in the UAE after a 44 percent expansion that year. The dialogue also drew attention to Campus AI an initiative led by MGX in partnership with French and global players to construct high-performance computing and artificial intelligence infrastructure in France. Leading UAE organisations such as ADNOC Masdar MGX and G42 occupy central positions in these expanding alliances according to the agency.

The occasion further included the exchange of a Strategic Defence Partnership Framework between the two countries along with implementing arrangements on defence industries. WAM indicated that these steps align with wider discussions held the previous day between UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and President Macron on reinforcing strategic relations across economic investment energy technology and artificial intelligence domains. Officials from both nations reaffirmed their interest in advancing shared projects that support sustainable development objectives.
