The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange announced that it achieved a 99 percent compliance rate for the disclosure of audited financial statements covering the first half of 2026. According to the exchange, 100 listed companies traded in the market out of a total of 101 traded public listed companies met the submission requirements for their second-quarter financial statements. The total number of listed companies stands at 104, of which three have been suspended for more than six months, ADX figures show.
This compliance was secured within the legal timeframe of 45 days from the end of the relevant financial period, the exchange reported on August 21, 2026. A comparison of financial data between the first halves of 2025 and 2026 indicates a 38 percent increase in the aggregate profits of listed companies. The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange stated that the collaboration between the exchange and its listed companies has always proved to be a productive one.
The latest results align with the 99 percent compliance rate ADX reported for first-quarter 2026 disclosures in a May 2026 press release. ADX’s 2025 year in review, published in February 2026, described solid performance and strong momentum that carried into broader international access and increased investor participation during the first half of 2026. Separate ADX updates from the period highlighted strengthened market depth across its platforms.
In a parallel announcement, the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange became the first in the Mena region to provide all investors and market participants with official live market data through conversational AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude. The integration relies on a governed Model Context Protocol server that supplies secure, on-demand access to datasets including market depth, trading statistics segmented by investor type and XBRL financial disclosures. Plans range from a free tier to Dhs 49.99 per month with defined limits on refresh frequency, historical depth and concurrent connections.
Abdulla Salem Alnuaimi, group chief executive officer of ADX, said in the statement, “AI is rapidly enabling how investors discover, analyse and act on information. As the first exchange in the Mena region to connect directly with major AI models, we are redefining how the financial community can take advantage of our market data to make informed decisions directly, intuitively, and efficiently. By removing technical barriers that once required a setup, everyone now has live access to ADX data through simple prompts. We believe this will contribute to greater market transparency, wider financial participation, and a more accessible investment ecosystem. This also reinforces ADX as a key pillar supporting the development of Abu Dhabi and the UAE’s capital markets and aligns with the emirate’s vision of an AI-inspired, knowledge-based economy.”
The service enables retrieval of bid-ask spreads, price-discovery signals, retail versus institutional flows, foreign versus local data, index constituents and related reference information. It supports fintech developers building custom analytics, brokers creating white-label trading assistants and institutional investors requiring low-latency order book visibility. Retail users can pose natural-language queries to obtain real-time official market intelligence through platforms they already use.
