Octane Rent said in a statement that the company has launched a yacht charter service from Dubai Marina and Dubai Harbour. The expansion introduces 31 vessels measuring from 35 feet to 141 feet with varied hourly rates to suit different group sizes and event types. Entry-level speedboats start at AED 312 per hour for up to 10 guests while family and social yachts range from AED 865 to AED 955 per hour to host as many as 30 passengers. Premium flybridge models begin at AED 1,549 per hour and the flagship CRN 43 superyacht is listed at AED 13,350 per hour with a 140-foot AS 130 available for corporate groups of up to 100 people.
According to the statement all bookings include a licensed captain and crew as well as fuel for standard routes. Complimentary mineral water, soft drinks and ice come with full insurance coverage and no security deposit is required. Rentals carry a three-hour minimum with free cancellation permitted up to 72 hours in advance. Standard itineraries feature Bluewaters Island, Palm Jumeirah, Atlantis The Palm and Burj Al Arab.
Octane Rent said in a statement, “Expanding into yacht charters is a natural extension of what we already do: premium experiences delivered without the friction of deposits, hidden costs, or complicated booking processes. The same standards our car rental clients have rated 4.9 stars now apply on the water.” The car rental operation maintains a 4.9-out-of-5 Google rating compiled from more than 1,618 reviews across 27 years in business with a fleet of over 400 vehicles spanning 31 brands.
The launch coincides with sustained growth in the yacht charter industry. A Global Market Insights assessment found the global yacht rental market is expected to grow from 10.1 billion U.S. dollars in 2026 to 18 billion dollars by 2035 at a compound annual growth rate of 6.7 percent. Allied Market Research data places the worldwide yacht charter market at 11.4 billion dollars in 2022 with a forecast to reach 20.2 billion dollars by 2032 while expanding at 6.9 percent annually. A Grand View Research outlook anticipates the UAE yacht charter market will register a 5.7 percent compound annual growth rate from 2026 to 2033.
An Allied Market Research report noted that countries such as the UAE are building first-rate marina infrastructure and implementing supportive regulations that create new locations where boating remains possible all year round. Octane Rent operates as one of Dubai’s longest-standing luxury rental providers and the statement positioned the yacht service as an extension of its established client-focused model. The company maintains its emphasis on transparent pricing and seamless reservations for the new maritime offerings in a sector that draws substantial luxury tourism to the emirate.
