First Abu Dhabi Bank has introduced an end-to-end digital experience for personal loan applications among customers connected to the FAHR-integrated employer network, according to a statement issued by the lender. The integration with the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources central HR system permits secure real-time salary validation along with automated data entry, the statement said. This removes the former necessity for customers to collect, scan and submit salary certificates or salary transfer letters during the process.
The initiative represents a key element in FAB’s digital lending transformation that moves applications away from manual handling toward automated and efficient workflows, the bank stated in the announcement distributed via Zawya. By directly incorporating verified employment and salary information the system reduces administrative steps while raising data accuracy and supporting quicker credit evaluations. Eligible customers within the specified network can now complete applications through several straightforward digital stages without physical documents.
The statement from FAB underlined that the journey minimises demands on employer HR departments by limiting manual interventions and associated friction. The platform retrieves current employment details securely to feed into the bank’s evaluation procedures, according to the release. Such features align with broader UAE objectives for digital transformation across government and financial services.
This launch follows FAB’s 2025 implementation of Intellect Consumer Banking’s Debt Management solution, which an earlier company announcement credited with accelerating digital transformation and establishing new standards in the area. The bank has also pursued AI advancements through a 2024 strategic partnership with Microsoft that focused on developing financial services capabilities including an innovation hub, FAB’s prior statements noted. These efforts form part of sustained investments in technology that aim to enhance retail banking offerings.
FAB’s announcement described the paperless loan process as supporting faster and more accessible services while contributing to national digital economy priorities. The integration specifically targets government sector employees whose employers participate in the FAHR network, the statement added. Processing improvements stem from the elimination of traditional paperwork requirements that previously extended application timelines.
The bank positioned the development as reinforcement of its collaboration with federal entities to advance secure and efficient financial solutions across the UAE, according to the release. Eligible applicants benefit from streamlined credit assessment that draws on authoritative real-time data sources. This approach reflects ongoing evolution in the UAE banking sector toward fully digital customer journeys.
