The Sharjah Investment Forum 2026 has revealed a network of more than 20 partners and sponsors drawn from government entities, private sector firms and media organisations, the Emirates News Agency reported on October 1. These collaborators will integrate sector expertise and market requirements into the forum’s programme, creating direct channels for investors and decision makers to explore partnerships. The ninth edition, organised by the Sharjah FDI Office known as Invest in Sharjah in collaboration with the UAE Ministry of Investment, takes place under the theme Building Adaptive Economies at Al Jawaher Reception and Convention Centre. The UAE Ministry of Investment joins as organising partner while the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry serves as strategic partner, according to the announcement. Government partners include the Sharjah Economic Development Department and Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park.
Private sector participants bring direct experience from industries tied to economic expansion and investment flows, the forum’s statement indicated. Al Rasikhoon Real Estate participates as platinum partner with Gulftainer Group and TRILIV Holdings as gold sponsors. FAST Building Contracting and Al Marwan Group appear as silver sponsors while BEEAH Group takes the sustainability partner role and Mashreq acts as banking sponsor. The network also encompasses a group of media partners comprising Sharjah Broadcasting Authority, Forbes Middle East, Arabian Business, Finance & Business Magazine, Economy Middle East, The Business Year and 971Life.
The forum expects to welcome more than 10,000 participants from over 60 countries together with more than 80 international speakers across over 140 activities that include more than 80 direct business meetings, according to the Emirates News Agency. These engagements will combine policy discussions with practical opportunities for investors, businesses and government representatives to align on responses to shifts in global trade, technology and supply chains. The structure builds on the 2025 edition, which according to Invest in Sharjah data hosted more than 211 B2B meetings that explored potential investment opportunities totaling $924.5 million.
Sharjah attracted AED 7.74 billion in foreign direct investment across 142 projects during 2025, with project numbers rising 45 percent year on year and generating 5,673 new jobs, figures cited in earlier forum announcements show. The growth spanned manufacturing, logistics, technology, real estate and creative sectors, reinforcing the emirate’s position as a hub capable of supporting adaptive economic strategies. Organisers have positioned the 2026 gathering to translate high level debate into concrete partnerships that address interconnected changes in capital allocation and industrial development.
Previous editions of the Sharjah Investment Forum have progressively expanded participation from both public institutions and private enterprises, a pattern the current partner list continues, the statement from event coordinators noted. The involvement of banking, real estate, contracting, logistics and sustainability specialists ensures the programme reflects operational realities that investors encounter when evaluating opportunities in the UAE and broader region. Media partners will help disseminate insights from the sessions to wider audiences across the Middle East and internationally.
Marwan Saleh Alichla, Coordinator General of the SIF Committee, said in a related announcement that forces reshaping investment today do not stop at the borders of one market or the boundaries of one sector. Changes in technology, trade, capital and supply chains are increasingly connected, and responding to them requires equally broad participation from governments, investors and businesses. This is what SIF seeks to enable, bringing different markets, sectors and perspectives into the same conversation.
