Yango Group has framed artificial intelligence and connected mobility as essential building blocks for the cities of today and tomorrow, according to statements from the Dubai-headquartered technology company. The firm, which maintains operations in more than 35 countries, has progressively expanded from ride-hailing into comprehensive urban technology solutions that include AI routing and smart-city platforms. Its announcements stress the importance of embedding intelligence into everyday infrastructure rather than relying solely on physical construction. Company materials present these tools as responses to rising urban congestion and the need for more sustainable mobility systems.

Yango Group’s analysis of millions of trips showed its AI routing technology returned more than five million hours to commuters across over 20 cities in 2025, the company reported. That aggregate figure equates to nearly 600 years of time restored to urban residents and economies, according to the firm’s breakdown. Individual city outcomes included more than 1.1 million hours saved in Lima, an average 6.48 percent efficiency gain per trip in Kinshasa and 832,617 hours reclaimed in Pakistan’s Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad combined. The calculations compared AI-optimised paths against static routes that ignore live conditions.

The company introduced an AI platform in June 2026 to support public transport authorities with network planning, operations and revenue management, Yango Group said in a statement. The system draws on real-time and historical data to predict demand, detect bottlenecks and recommend schedule, route and fleet adjustments. Internal estimates project that fully integrated deployments can reduce traffic congestion by up to 28 percent, lower operational costs by 35 percent and increase fare collection by 30 percent. Yango Group noted the platform can also feed passenger applications such as multimodal journey planning when adopted locally.

Yango Ride added an official integration with ChatGPT in early October 2026 that permits in-conversation trip planning across more than 25 countries including the UAE, the company announced. Users receive precise pricing, route comparisons and live ETAs directly inside AI chats powered by the firm’s traffic data and routing engines. Autonomous delivery robots have entered pilot service at sites such as Expo City Dubai, illustrating how robotics can handle last-mile logistics without human couriers. These features form part of a wider SuperApp ecosystem that combines mobility, delivery and other daily services.

Adeniyi Adebayo, chief business officer of Yango Group, said, “Five million hours saved isn’t a tech metric – it’s proof that AI can solve real urban problems at scale.” Adebayo added, “We’re demonstrating that the next generation of city infrastructure won’t be built with concrete and steel alone, but with data, algorithms, and intelligence embedded into everyday services.” The executive’s comments, carried in company releases, connect the time savings to measurable improvements in daily life and economic productivity. Daniil Shuleyko, CEO of Yango Group, has similarly described the company’s mission as constructing a digital operating system for cities that adapts global technology to local needs.

According to Yango Group statements, its urban solutions align with planning frameworks such as the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan and the associated 20-minute city model. INRIX Global Traffic Scorecard data indicated congestion increased in 62 percent of studied urban areas in 2025, reinforcing the relevance of AI-based interventions. The company has presented anonymised mobility datasets to authorities for traffic modelling, public transport refinement and accessibility analysis in several markets. These contributions position Yango Group as a technology partner for municipalities seeking to modernise infrastructure without proportionate rises in physical development costs.
