Aldar said in a statement released on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange that net profit after tax reached AED 7.1 billion in the first nine months of 2026, a 19 percent rise from the prior year, with earnings per share increasing 20 percent to AED 0.77. The developer recorded revenue and rental income of AED 26.2 billion for the period, an 11 percent gain, while adjusted EBITDA climbed 20 percent to AED 9.4 billion on the back of high occupancy rates and rental growth across its investment properties portfolio. Group development sales totalled AED 18.9 billion in the nine months, including AED 6.8 billion booked during the third quarter alone, even as the company pursued a measured launch cadence in the first half before stepping up activity.
According to the results, Aldar introduced seven new projects in the third quarter, lifting the year-to-date total to 12 and reflecting accelerated momentum that met continued buyer interest in both fresh inventory and established communities. UAE sales for the nine months stood at AED 14.4 billion while overall sales surpassed AED 20 billion, with international and expatriate buyers accounting for 78 percent of UAE transactions at AED 11.3 billion. The performance underscores the contribution from backlog conversion together with resilient recurring income from a diversified asset base that has expanded through recent acquisitions.
Aldar’s development backlog reached AED 71.6 billion by the end of September, including AED 59.3 billion within the UAE, offering revenue visibility stretching across the next two to three years. Nearly 89 percent of the UAE portion has already secured construction contracts, while contract assets and liabilities point to the majority of remaining performance obligations being recognised within the coming two years. The company noted that its investment assets under management grew to AED 57 billion after incorporating new holdings such as the Emirates Snack Foods cold store facility and the first phase of a Grade A logistics centre at National Industries Park in Dubai.
The Abu Dhabi developer reported third-quarter net profit of AED 2.3 billion, up 21 percent year-on-year, accompanied by a 16 percent rise in revenue and rental income to AED 9.3 billion and a 22 percent EBITDA increase to AED 3.0 billion. These quarterly gains built on the broader nine-month trajectory as the firm continued to broaden its footprint across the UAE through partnerships and targeted investments. Aldar also updated its full-year adjusted EBITDA guidance to a range of AED 12.3 billion to AED 12.7 billion, reflecting confidence in sustained operational delivery.
Group CEO Talal Al Dhiyebi said in the announcement, “Following a measured approach to new launches during the first half, we accelerated activity in the third quarter with encouraging demand for our new communities.” The executive highlighted the strength of the investment portfolio in supporting earnings stability even as development sales activity varied across periods. Aldar maintains a focus on expanding its presence in key emirates, including recent moves into Sharjah and joint initiatives along the Abu Dhabi-Dubai border that are expected to contribute to future growth pipelines.
Financial reports filed with the exchange show the company’s total equity stood at AED 55.7 billion at the end of the period, while net cash generated from operating activities amounted to AED 2.4 billion. Cash and bank balances closed at AED 23.2 billion, providing a solid liquidity position to support ongoing project execution and potential acquisitions. The results arrive as Aldar continues to execute on its strategy of blending development sales with an expanding base of income-generating assets across residential, commercial and logistics segments.
