The General Administration of Abu Dhabi Customs registered a 12 percent increase in customs transactions completed through digital platforms in the first half of 2026 relative to the first six months of 2025, the authority said in its announcement. Customs clearance transactions accounted for 32 percent of overall activity and showed a 3.9 percent rise over the comparable period. Pre-arrival clearance transactions stood at 89 percent, reflecting a 7 percent improvement, while proactive transactions advanced by 13.3 percent and those completed via direct integration grew 23.5 percent.

Customer satisfaction with services offered through the TAMM unified government services platform reached 95.6 percent, according to Abu Dhabi Customs data. The Customer Effort Index registered 95.7 percent and the Service Quality Index hit 96 percent, an increase of 3.3 percent from the prior measure. These outcomes reflect the performance of the emirate’s digital customs infrastructure in supporting efficient trade flows.

Mubarak Matar Al Mansoori, executive director of the operations sector at Abu Dhabi Customs, placed customers and the business community at the centre of operational priorities. “Abu Dhabi Customs places customers and the business community at the centre of its priorities by providing smart and integrated customs services aligned with international best practices,” Al Mansoori said. He explained that the services simplify procedures, deliver proactive digital options and enhance the speed and efficiency of transaction processing.

The first-half results extend growth seen in the prior full-year period when Abu Dhabi Customs recorded a 9.4 percent increase in digital platform transactions for 2025 compared with 2024, according to statistics published on the authority’s website. A Mordor Intelligence assessment found the UAE digital transformation market valued at USD 1.82 billion in 2026 and projected to reach USD 3.75 billion by 2031, expanding at a compound annual growth rate of 15.62 percent. Abu Dhabi leads that expansion with an 18.95 percent CAGR, driven by its dedicated digital strategy and related initiatives.

Al Mansoori noted in the announcement that ongoing development of innovative solutions aims to empower the business community and reinforce supply chains. The authority’s latest metrics form part of a sustained push to align customs operations with international standards. Such advances support Abu Dhabi’s position within the UAE’s broader trade and logistics network.
