ART Elite Car Rental LLC, a subsidiary of Elite Group Holding, and SelfDrive Mobility said in a statement that they had formalized a strategic alliance to expand digital long-term leasing options in the UAE. The partnership merges ART Elite’s vehicle fleet strength and leasing operations with SelfDrive Mobility’s technology platform, customer base and digital distribution network. This creates a new scalable channel for flexible mobility solutions featuring models from JETOUR and SOUEAST.
According to the companies’ announcement the partnership secured 100 pre-bookings in August 2026 alone demonstrating immediate market demand. They expect to exceed 50 bookings monthly leading to more than 600 leases per year. The statement highlighted this trajectory as evidence of customer preference for digitally accessible leasing terms ranging from 12 to 24 months.
The announcement outlined that SelfDrive Mobility will present the leasing products through its app, AI-powered tools and website allowing customers to select preferred models seamlessly. ART Elite will oversee the end-to-end fulfilment process covering eligibility assessment, documentation, vehicle allocation, delivery and ongoing support. All bookings will flow through the SelfDrive dealer dashboard with final approvals following ART Elite’s standard procedures.
DriveArabia reported that Elite Group Holding launched ART Elite Car Rental in May 2025 to provide all-inclusive leasing packages with no down payment and coverage for insurance, maintenance and roadside assistance. The company serves as the exclusive UAE partner for both JETOUR and SOUEAST brands which form the core of the new leasing portfolio. This latest alliance represents a further step in leveraging digital channels to reach a broader audience.
SelfDrive Mobility has established multiple brand partnerships to grow its subscription and leasing offerings across the region. A January 2025 announcement detailed an exclusive collaboration with Bestune to introduce 1,500 vehicles in the UAE scaling toward 5,000 across the GCC by the end of that year. Such moves align with broader industry shifts toward flexible mobility solutions that reduce capital commitment for users.
Voice of Emirates reported that the UAE car rental market reached 2.2 billion dirhams in 2025 after expanding 11.8 percent from the previous year on the back of demand for flexible mobility. Deep Market Insights projected further growth that would take the sector from 5.05 billion dollars in 2025 to 11.42 billion dollars by 2034 at a compound annual growth rate of 9.58 percent. The partnership between ART Elite and SelfDrive Mobility is positioned to capitalise on this expansion through technology-enabled long-term leasing.
The statement issued following the signing ceremony on August 27, 2026 in Dubai framed SelfDrive Mobility as a long-term strategic partner rather than a transactional channel. Both parties anticipate further scaling of the available fleet and potential addition of more models in response to demand. The collaboration underscores the increasing role of technology in transforming traditional automotive leasing models in the UAE market.
